Blastocyst culture & transfer

We are proud to offer a well-established blastocyst culturing system. By culturing the embryos until day 5 and 6 of embryonic development we can guarantee increased pregnancy rates as this allows for the selection of the best embryo(s). In 2015, 60% of patients having blastocyst (day 5) embryo transfers had clinical pregnancies (across all maternal ages).

 

Laser assisted hatching

In some cases, the zona pellucida (ZP): outer ‘shell’ of the embryo is too hard for the embryo to hatch our and attach to the wall of the uterus. In assisted hatching, the outer shell is either thinned or opened in order to facilitate implantation.
